Final voting

  • Profiles that have received the most votes in the semi-final vote within each of the macro-regions (i.e. 6 profiles in total, winners of each macro-region) advance to the final along with profiles that received the most votes in a given category, so that each of the categories Fun & Entertainment, Social Impact & Change and Inspiration & Influence in the finals is represented by a total of 10 personalities and the Rising Star category by 5 finalists. Therefore, a total of 35 finalists out of fans and jury votes will get through to the final. The organizer has the right to include in the final vote also a competitor who did not fulfill the above condition for the progress to the final vote, based upon the ‘Go Global Wild Card’.

  • The organizer reserves the right to take all measures to protect the impartiality, objectivity and proper conduct of the poll and, if necessary, to change or modify the rules of the poll or to cancel it. If you have any questions, please e-mail us at global@socialawards.global.

I’ve found a blog/video channel/profile among the nominees that doesn’t meet the rules. It is possible to report it?

If you happen to see such a profile, send us a link to its nomination and the reason you think it does not fulfill the conditions to global@socialawards.global.

Where can I find the rules for the Awards?

The Rules for the Awards can be found on our website under the link Rules and Conditions.

I didn’t find my favorite in the list of nominees.

One reason for this may be that the nomination has not been approved due to the large number of nominees, which can cause approval to take longer than usual. It is also possible that the nominee does not meet the rules for approval: The blog/video channel/profile of the creator must be active; they must have more than 100,000 followers on a social network; for nomination to the Rising Star category, the limit is reduced to 50,000 followers. Profiles may not be commercial; they must not publish content that is in contradiction to valid laws or good ethics. Profiles that are overly vulgar, contain erotic content, or incite religious, racial, or other intolerance are disqualified from the nominations.

Is it possible to nominate a creator even after the end date of the nominations?

You can send your proposal for nomination even after 4th March 2019 to global@socialawards.global.

Can I vote for my own blog/video channel/profile?

How are votes counted in the final round of voting? Are the votes from the semi-final also counted?

No. In the final voting round, voting starts anew. Votes from the semi-final round are not carried over – all finalists once again have an equal chance.

Can I send my vote later to the semi-final/final round of voting after voting has finished?

No, after voting ends, it is not possible to vote in any way.

I accidentally cast my vote for someone else. Is it possible to cancel my vote and cast a new one?

Unfortunately no. The voting system does not allow voters to take back their votes and cast a new vote for another nominee.
